We Glorify God by Living Holy & Making Disciples of all Nations.

The year 2024 marks the 52nd preaching (ministerial) anniversary of this Baltimore, Maryland native, Bishop Reginald Lamont Kennedy. From the moment he preached his inaugural gospel message at the tender age of eleven, this anointed man of God has touched and is touching hundreds of lives as a highly sought-after preacher, teacher, keynote speaker, lecturer, and seminar leader in the religious and business communities.

Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church, located in the heart of Baltimore’s inner city, acknowledges that God sent this young pastor to them thirty-three (33) years ago knowing the future and heightened level of ministry upon which they would embark together. Bishop Kennedy is the Senior Pastor, with his youngest son, Rev. Daniel Kennedy, serving as Assistant Pastor.

Bishop Kennedy attended the Baltimore’s Lake Clifton High School and Richmond’s Virginia Union University, where he earned a B.A in Religion and Philosophy. At Baltimore’s Family Bible Seminary, he earned a Master of Divinity Degree. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) in Advanced Clinical Pastoral Counseling at the University of Family Bible.
